Hanson has talked about his The Flash #7 party ALL year long and it finally happened!
He also wanted it at Chuck E. Cheese even though he is deathly afraid of the giant mouse. Lol! We had to prod him little by little to just stand slightly in front of the robotic Chuck E. all the while he was cringing and checking his back to make sure it wouldn’t get him. He does however love the games and was over joyed by all the tickets he earned. He invited his two best buddies, Emmett and Wesley and they had a ball!
Hanson was so happy to have all 4 of his Big brothers there playing games with him. It was great having all our kids together for his 7th Birthday! He is such a sweet happy boy and it was so much fun celebrating him. Happy 7th Birthday Hanson or “Seven” as Daddy said he is going to call him all year long!
This twirly miss twinkle toes had her first ballet recital and loved it! She started Corky Bell School of Dance this past September. Her favorite friends in class are Hayley who she’s dancing next to on stage and tiny Sophia she’s pictured with. She couldn’t wait to wear her costume and get on stage for her “concert”. I must admit I was a bit let down that after taking lessons every week since September that they only did one song/dance for the recital but this is our first go at it so didn’t know what to expect. Before I left her to go to my seat Gayley was all giddy and told me “Mommy I won’t be shy!”. She was all smiles as the curtain opened and did her dance routine so well. She wasn’t shy at all! She leapt into her Daddy’s arms after the show and loved her bouquet of flowers. Sweet Gayley ballerina!
Her class danced to “Animal Crackers In My Soup” ya know the one by Shirley Temple.
Animal crackers in my soup Monkeys and rabbits loop the loop Gosh, oh gee! but I have fun Swallowing animals one by one
In every bowl of soup I see Lions and tigers watching me I make ’em jump right through a hoop Those animal crackers in my soup
When I get hold of the big bad wolf I just push him under to drown Then I bite him in a million bits And I gobble him right down!
When they’re inside me where it’s dark I walk around like Noah’s Ark I stuff my tummy like a goop With animal crackers in my soup!
Today Elijah sold his Jeep to a lady who is surprising her husband with it. She arrived with two guys she has commissioned to find a project Jeep that they will strip down and rebuild. They were the ones that connected her to Elijah because his green Jeep met the criteria she was looking for. She was excited and very pleased when she saw his Jeep in person. She’s secretly doing this to surprise her husband for his birthday. Anytime you sell a Jeep it’s a bit emotional for us anyways. Elijah and I bought this Jeep via EBay with the agreement that we would split payments and had it shipped from California to Cheksea. It’s an awesome Jeep but as most old Jeeps go it’s not always reliable to start when you need it to and can stop running at any point. With him going back and forth to Auburn this fall he wanted to get a more reliable ride. He still wants to stay with a Jeep just a newer model one hopefully with AC and heat. This isn’t his first Jeep (He had a Jeep Cherokee in high school) and I’m sure it won’t be his last if he follows in his father’s footsteps. We are just drawn to them like magnets!
Nothing binds neighbors together like a hardy game of paintball! It was Matt and Brenna’s son, Caison, birthday party we were at. Hanson loved the thrill of it, Gayley loved the plastic knife she found and played with all afternoon. The courses were super challenging and sure did get the adrenaline flowing! Fun was had by all!
