Jordan tried out and was chosen to be in the Shelby County Honor Band. He attended an all day Friday workshop where the group meets a specially chosen band director and then Saturday morning workshop and then perform at 2:00pm Saturday afternoon. It is amazing how these kids from several different schools learn to play completely new and challenging pieces under the direction of a director they’ve just met! Astonishing!!! Since I couldn’t see Jordan from where I was sitting I just recorded the music so y’all could hear the concert. Enjoy🎼!
It was wear Red day at preschool and so I jumped at the chance for Gayley to wear her Christmas dress again. She had only worn it 3 times so I was happy as can be for her to get all dolled up in it. I love, love, love that her teachers take so many photos of them at all their little events and post for us parents to see. It’s like we’re there and aren’t missing out on these sweet moments. The top right photo cracks me up! It truly captured Gayley’s exuberant flare and joy she has with her girly friends. It’s like a preschool sorority snapshot where there is always that one gal that stands out! Lol!
Jordan was in a local tennis tournament this weekend and played outstanding! He was the Boys Singles Champion and the boys team earned Team Champions!!! He sure is starting off his tennis season on top! Way to go JORDAN🎾!
Our sweet girl had the best Valentine’s Day with her Butterfly class. She loved giving her friends Valentine’s gifts and especially enjoyed ice cream sundaes. I just love the adorable heart blowing card she (her teachers) made for us. Oh how we love this beautiful Valentine’s.
