Cow Appreciation Day ’17!

It’s that time of year again for Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A! Hooray!! This year getting ready was super easy. All I did was go to the attic and pull out all of our cow print costumes, divide them out and away we went. We even had a shirt and sign for Joseph’s friend Tanner who’s spending the night with us. We love this day, it’s so much fun to go there and see all the other people in their cow costumes and attire and getting free food is always a bonus. Thank you Chick-fil-A I fed my entire crew for  $5.10!!!!!

Pit Stop Playground

On our way home from Charlotte Trey had a meeting at an installation project and so we found a really great playground just up the road from there. It was the perfect pit stop for the kids to get out of the car to run and play and use bathrooms. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer playground!

Independence Day ’17

For the 4th of July we loaded up the Expedtion and drove to Charlotte to be with Karen, Christian, Emma and Connor. The kids did great making it such an easy drive.

We all had a blast being with one another and the kids loved swimming in Connor’s pool. Karen’s street had a block party that night and several shot off fireworks making for quite a show. Gayley loved the sparklers which made her Mama very nervous! I think Hanson ate 3 Popsicles! Afterwards there was more late night swimming for the older kiddos. Such a fun trip with family!
