If we were given the option to move to Greenville, SC with Trey’s company I would without hesitation say, “YES!!! How soon?!” We absolutely love going there with Trey each and every chance we get. The company has done lots of projects there with more to come for sure which pleases us to be able to return again and again! We always go to the park in the middle of down town, I really should find out its proper name. The kids love browsing and getting stuff from Opey Taylor’s Toy Store. Trey and I always find something nice at Mass General and then we all go to the back of the store to the Candy Shop. Everyone loves picking out their pieces of candy from the candy barrels and then weighing them. There are several other shops we like to go to along our stroll but these are our favorites.
We only had Joseph, Jordan and Mary with us on this trip to Greenville as Elijah and Morgan were on the “Older Grandkids” End-of-school suprise trip with Pawpaw and Grammy! We headed to Greenville and the rest of the gang headed to Tennessee. Trey had his meetings and site visits at the hospital and then we went North to visit Christian, Karen, Emma, Connor and Lulu’s son, Huck , in Matthews, NC. Lulu and Lily were with us on this trip since the hotel was pet friendly and for the Mommy, brother, sister puppy reunion. All three dogs got along wonderfully and had the best time together.
Monday night the Rays vs Cubs played in the 1st game of the city playoffs. Morgan’s team, the Rays were going in as 3rd place and the Cubs 2nd. It was an incredible game!! Morgan was awesome. His first at bat was a hard bunt between 3rd base and short which moved runners to bases scoring once and Morgan was safe at 1st base. He then stole bases was batted around and scored! At his 2nd time at bat he had an infield fly that the pitcher bobbled and he was able to run it out and get safe at 1st. He was a bit too over-confident and took too much of a lead off 1st base and couldn’t get back resulting in a pick off by the pitcher/1st baseman:( His 3rd at bat was a monster of a hit!!!! He let it rip and the ball soared to the fence over center field!!! He made it to 2nd base on that hit then stole 3rd and stole to home, magnificent!!! He was pumped!!! Daddy and Mom were proud as can be!!! Ellijah cheered his brother on when he wasn’t reading his Kindle and the little kids were deep into their own little game of spinning Bayblades.
The boys kept on pounding the ball and making great defensive plays holding off the Cubs and winning the game 12 to 5! Yeah Rays!!!!!! They now play Tuesday night against the Rangers(4thplace team) that beat the 1st place team in the game after ours last night. Our record against the Rangers is 2:2 so it’s anyones game, pretty exciting!!! The winner of tonight’s game (2nd round champs) goes on to play the 1st round champs on Thursday night to see who will be the overall City Champs. As thrilled as we are for Morgan this puts our family in a bit of a bind as we had previously scheduled to go out-of-town on Thursday. We might have to delay our trip if the Rays continue because Morgan most certainly can not miss the Thursday night game because the team will already be down to 9 players due to a player going on a family cruise. Exciting times at our house!! Go Chelsea Tampa Bay Rays!!!!!
Hurray! Hurray! It’s Field Day!!
The little ones had a blast at Field Day. It was an unusually cool May day that had them shivering at times when normally their little heads would be drenched with sweat. They had fun with soccer, hula hoops, dodge ball, golf, basketball, bean bag toss, sack races, karate, 100 yard dash, frisbees and the most looked forward to of all. . . Kona Ice!!!! Who doesn’t love a snowcone at school!!!
Joseph is always the life of the party. Here he had on one of his girl classmates jacket and was singing/rapping a song about “I’m a gangsta in a girls jacket”. His class thought he was hilarious!! What a mess he is!!!
Jordan and Mary are playing soccer together again for their 3rd time. Jordan absolutely loves it and would play a game most everyday if he had his way. Mary just started saying she didn’t want to play again after the last game, so perhaps they may not be on the same soccer team again. This season you could really see the height difference in Mary and the other players leading to Mary not getting near as much foot on the ball as she had on the previous teams. For Fall soccer I will check with the coordinator to see if they will let her play with the 5yr olds even though she would be 7 yrs so that she’ll be playing with ones about her same size and skill level. I don’t want her discouraged and give up on the game because when she gets the ball she is really awesome with it!!
Jordan and Mary’s team is called the Bears and they play their final game this Sunday. GOooooooo BEARS!!!!!!!
Last night while tucking Jordan into bed he asked again how could Jesus be in his heart, how would He come in? We talked a bit and we went over all he had heard during the Easter weeks of Christ dying on the cross for our sins and rising again. Daddy came in and went over things some more and asked Jordan questions and answered his questions. Jordan said he wanted Jesus!! He prayed his sweet Prayer of Salvation and he is now not only our son but our brother in Christ Jesus!!!! Halleluia!!
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
John 14:6 (New International Reader’s Version)
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Ephesians 2:8-9 8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
John 1:12 But to all who have received him–those who believe in his name–he has given the right to become God’s children
John 3:16-18 For this is the way God loved the world: he gave his one and only Son that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. 18 The one who believes in Him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
Galatians 2:20 (New International Version, ©2011)
20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We show the parents and grandparents just how much sugar is in the most common drinks we give our small children. They are amazed, some times shocked and at times it feel like “confession” as they go on and on about how much their little ones drink!!! It’s a big eye opener which is what we want so that we can help them cut down on childhood cavities.
These were taken a while back during Dr. Seuss week at the elementary school. This was Green Eggs and Ham breakfast with parents and grandparents. Nothing like GREEN eggs to get a cafeteria full of kiddos hyped up!!!
